Day 01:
Arrive Luang Prabang
Dinner at the hotel | Villa Chitdara or similar

Our guide is waiting to meet you at the arrival hall, and you will soon be transferred to the hotel. Luang Prabang is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. The tranquility and charm of this town, with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights, make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos. The city is the home of many significant temples (Wats) and those are to be included in your today’s program, including Wat Visoun, a half-water melon stupa, the shrine of Wat Aham, and Wat Xieng Thong, a magnificent piece of architecture, which nestles at the meeting of the Mekong and the Nam Khan River. The temple structures are decorated in various ways with gilded stuccoes as well as doorways, and the main sim has a marvelous “tree life" mosaic pattern on an outer wall. We then climb up to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa, as well as to view a beautiful and panoramic sunset over the Mekong River. Then it is time to stroll down the night market, where you can find a lovely selection of textiles made by the locals and the hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang.

Day 02:
Mt biking, Trekking, Homestay
Breakfast at the hotel, Lunch along the journey | Homestay

Size up one of our high-quality mountain bikes at our bike shop before heading out of town with your guide. Our first visit is Wat Phon Phao, the “Golden Stupa" temple with a bird’s-eye view of the city and beautiful grounds—one of the few nun-run temples in the vicinity. We travel a short distance to Ban Phanom, the King’s favored silk hand-weaving town in the past. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit Henri Mouhot’s grave, the French adventurer who popularized Angkor Wat. Our final leg of the journey leads us into the Nam Khan River valley, which is home to beautiful mountains, waterfalls, elephants, and a river. Take a break at the river’s edge camp, then take a boat ride up to Tad Sae Falls. You may relax and unwind in the pure spring water, which welcomes you to take a relaxing bath. Observe Asian elephants in their natural habitat and have an unforgettable interactive experience with them. Before a 1.5-hour journey into the “Fair Trek" Project region, where villagers directly benefit from your visit, refuel with lunch at the falls. Your homestay on the foothills of a big mountain provides an unforgettable first-hand opportunity to learn about the Khamu people’s culture and traditions in a beautiful setting.

Day 03:
Short Trek and Kayaking trip on the Nam Khan river
Breakfast at homestay , Lunch along the journey | Villa Chitdara or similar

After breakfast and farewells to your new Khamu friends, set off hiking out of the mountains, about 1.5 hours to the riverbank and Xieng Lom Village. After safety and equipment checks, start kayaking down the Nam Khan River, passing jungle, elephant camps, villages, and rice paddies lining the river banks. We’ll kayak downriver for approximately 3–4 hours with several sections of rapids fun for everyone. Transfer by vehicle to Luang Prabang to conclude this two-day outdoor adventure.
