Coffee Trail on JEEP Ride
Meet at your hotel in Pakse, we then drive out to Paksong to meet our JEEP driver at the Jhai coffee house where you are free to have a cup to taste. Off to visit Tad Moun waterfall then a drive for an hour to coffee farm on bumpy and muddy roads. Mr Khamson will explain the process of how the coffee come about from the first selection stage, grow, harvest, roasting and tasting stage. You are to sample three different kind of coffee including Robusta, Arabica and Typica. After a full awakening from the coffee intake, we then off to Laven village – five hundred families – living here over three hundred years ago. Laven comes from the word of Laven Plateau that was named since French Indochina War. Last visit for today, it is Souay village where numerous traditional houses are still be seen and well reserved. Say good bye to Mr Khamson at Lao Ngam market before returning to Pakse.
